There will be games and activities designed with Autistic children in mind in a friendly, welcoming environment. The activities are aimed at children between 5 and 12 years, but, as this is a family evening, children outside these ages are also welcome. Activities will start and finish in the children's library, with some activities taking place in another part of the building. Families have the opportunity to chat and make friends with others with the same understanding as themselves. The Autistic Children’s Evening and Siblings (ACE+S) is a free group held every first Thursday of the month in the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, for any family with a child on the pathway or diagnosed with Autism and their siblings.įamilies can come and chat about their experiences and find out more information about what the council offer some evenings may have a guest speaker.
